The SUN and the MOON

The present and the past.

 

In our second class, we begin by picking up from Class #1 and completing our round of the zodiac by diving into Virgo and Pisces. We then explore the Sun and Moon positions. These positions are SO important in the chart. (Note: This is the first class where we had some questions and there are a few technical issues we had to work out so hang in there! In future classes, the questions are all asked via text).

 

We also explore the world of decanates. Please refer to your handout for this topic. It is a fairly simple idea, but it may feel complex and technical when first learning the information. (If it starts to feel like too much, you can skip ahead to the 37 minute mark in the class video and return to it after you’ve listened to more of the classes!) I recommend working with the Decanates handout after class and giving yourself time to assimilate to how decanates are used to bring more depth to your chart.

 

Finally, we explore the astrological houses. What does it mean when your Sun or Moon is in a particular HOUSE in your chart? I introduce a lot of material here, but will return to these descriptors many times throughout the course. There will be plenty of time to absorb this information as we progress from week to week. For now, just focus on getting a feel for how I describe the houses and their unique characteristics. Enjoy!
