Join me for a gorgeous weekend in Montecito, CA, as I celebrate and share my new poetry book, Ask Me.
The collection of poetry follows the journey of the loss of my father, and the four years of reckoning, reclamation, and ultimately emergence. It’s all about the art of becoming and claiming what is nascent and beckoning. The poems are filled with daring, intimacy, and vulnerability. They capture my journey to a truer self.
This weekend will be FULL of poetry.
I will read you many of my latest poems, and I will invite you to write some of your own. We will spend time in silence and in song.
LOCATION
We will be exquisitely held by Casa Sangha. This intimate retreat center is a 100-acre property atop a mountain in Montecito, offering endless views of Santa Barbara. Casa Sangha translates to “House of Community,” and it has been designed to support healing within a community. With its sweeping views of both the ocean and sky, It is a true sanctuary.
FOOD
Healthy, nourishing lunches will be prepared on Saturday and Sunday with love by world-class chefs Christina McPherson and Christine McEnery. Dietary restrictions can be accommodated with notice.
