Book Launch + Immersive Poetry Experience

Join me for a gorgeous weekend in Montecito, CA as I celebrate the launch of my new poetry book, Ask Me.
This collection of poetry follows the journey of the loss of my father, and the four years of reckoning, reclamation, and ultimately emergence that followed. It explores the many deaths and rebirths we all experience on a path of becoming.
This is not simply an event to attend, but a space to enter.
This will be a deeply immersive experience.
This weekend is an extension of the often invisible path of transformation. A place to encounter not just the poems—but yourself inside them.
Across two days, you will:

Be invited into writing of your own

Spend time in both shared reflection and quiet solitude

Experience moments of music, performance, silence, and connection
Your role is to arrive as you are—and to be willing to listen for what is unfolding within you.
Location
We will be exquisitely held by Casa Sangha. This intimate retreat center is a 100-acre property atop a mountain in Montecito, offering endless views of Santa Barbara.
Casa Sangha translates to "House of Community," and it has been designed to support healing within a community. With its sweeping views of both the ocean and sky, it is a true sanctuary.
If you’ll be joining us from out of town, we recommend staying in Montecito or Carpinteria. Accommodations can fill quickly during the summer season, so we encourage you to book early.
Reasonable rates can often be found at the Montecito Inn and the Carpinteria Best Western, or via local Airbnb options.

Friday, July 31 - 5:30pm - 9pm
Poetry Angels VIP Private Vegetarian Dinner
Saturday, August 1 - 9:30am - 5pm
A full day of poetry, reflection, and gathering (Vegetarian lunch included)
Sunday, August 2 - 9:30am - 4pm
A more spacious, experiential day with time to write, integrate, and deepen (Vegetarian lunch included)

Every poet needs some angels.
For a small circle of 10, there is an opportunity to step more intimately into this work.
Poetry Angels are devoted supporters of the creative process—those who feel called to help carry this work into the world.
As a Poetry Angel, you will be invited to a private VIP Friday evening vegetarian dinner with Heidi, prepared by world-class chefs. This will be a moment to gather before the weekend begins.
You will also receive a signed copy of the book to gift, along with a few thoughtful surprises.
